      I was Security Services (Law Enforcement) in the Air Force. I was patrolling base housing one day and decided to hand out candy to the kids with a warning "Don't accept candy from strangers". The irony of this is not missed upon me!

      Believing in a lifelong education, I got involved in TSLA through the encouragement of a colleague after receiving the Avrohm Wisenberg Scholarship in 2020. I attended the Annual Meeting in Austin and afterwards knew this association was doing something special and felt the need to get involved.

      After joining on, I've learned TSLA has proven to be a valuable asset to the insurance industry since it was founded in 1956. It continues to expand my knowledge of our trade, opens up doors to new friendships, and allows for the opportunity to have positive effects on an ever-changing marketplace. I will always be appreciative for the chance to give back and advocate for an association whose mission aligns with a vocation dedicated to service.

      I took a 5 year break from the insurance industry in order to pursue a career in professional football as a punter and kicker.
