    TSLA 2018 Mid-Year Meeting

    Listed below are the optional group activities for the 2018 Mid-Year. If you are interested, please be sure to register using the online registration form at www.tsla.org. Please note the minimums that are required for each activity. We have to reach the minimums in order to keep the rate listed. You will be notified if an event is cancelled or if the rate changes due to not reaching the minimum. There are no refunds of group activities after June 15th.

      Monday, July 16th

    California Dreamin Electric Bike tour* (no lunch included)
    Time: 1:00 - 5:15 p.m. (2 hour bike tour)
    Cost: $225 per adult/child (16 years & older)
    Minimum: 20
    Maximum: 25
    (*Riders may not exceed 230 lbs and must be able to balance and steer a bike. Rider must be comfortable riding on roads and hills. Ride is approximately 10 miles long)

    You will begin with an orientation in the park, and when everyone is comfortable you will head through the Birdrock neighborhoods of La Jolla. The La Jolla Bike path will take you north with gorgeous views of the ocean. As you head to the coast you will make a stop to check-out the playful sea lions, dramatic sea caves, harbor seals, and tide pools. All along your guide will provide you the inside scoop on Jolla's exclusive and luxurious neighborhoods. You will then follow the coast down to Windan Sea Beach, famous from early Beach Boy videos, where San Diego's most elite surfers come to play. Your fee includes transportation to & from the hotel, uniformed Allied PRA staff, certified guide, fully charged battery, a basket for personal items, bottle of water, helmet, taxes and gratuities.




    Paddle Boarding the La Jolla Caves (no lunch included)
    Time: 12:45-5:00 p.m.
    Cost: $140 per adult/child (10 years & older; anyone under 16 must have parent/guardian accompany them)*

    * Participants must be able to swim. Height & weight for this event will be required 7 days prior. You will more than likely get wet on this activity.

    Stand up paddle boarding is the fastest growing water sport in the world and there is no better place than sunny San Diego where the weather is perfect and the views are incredible. La Jolla's ecological reserve offers many treasures to find and explore. Your fee includes transportation to & from the hotel, all necessary equipment, certified guide, towels and Allied PRA uniformed staff, taxes and gratuities.




    La Jolla art walk (no lunch included)
    Time: 1:00-5:30 p.m.
    Cost: $135 per adult/child
    Minimum: 20
    Maximum: 24

    Beautiful La Jolla is Southern California's "Jewel" by the sea and it is home to numerous boutiques, galleries and artist studios. Once in La Jolla your art walk guide will take you on an exclusive tour of 5 local art galleries (about 1 hour) and then you will have 1 hour, 15 minutes to shop and explore La Jolla on your own. Your guide will share colorful anecdotes about the seaside getaway, making this a truly unique and personal experience. Your fee includes transportation to & from the hotel, Allied PRA uniformed staff, taxes and gratuities.

      Tuesday, July 17th

    Kayaking the La Jolla caves (no lunch included)
    Time: 12:30-5:30 p.m.
    Cost: $175 per adult (6 years & older; children between 6-14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)

    *Participants must be able to swim. Height & weight for this event will be required 7 days prior. Weight limit for single kayaks is 350 lbs and double is 450 lbs. Please note that kayaks can capsize, so be aware before signing up a small child.

    This guided 2 hour (1 1/2 kayaking and half hour free time) tour of La Jolla is perfect for everyone. The guides will blend the fun and excitement of kayaking with the enjoyment of San Diego's natural environment. Stable sit on top kayaks are used and they are user friendly, but you will get wet! Explore beautiful sea cliffs and caves as you glide through the La Jolla Ecological reserve filled with marine life. Paddle to Sunny Jim's Cave, the Arch Cave, the Clam's Cave and other sea caves for amazing close-up of sandstone formations. Entering the caves cannot be guaranteed. Your fee includes transportation to & from the hotel, 2-hour private kayak tour with certified guide, all necessary equipment and uniformed Allied PRA staff, taxes and gratuities.




    The Grape Escape (no lunch included)
    Time: 12:45 - 5:15 p.m.
    Cost: $270 per adult (21 & older)
    Minimum: 20
    Maximum: 24

    You will visit 3 urban wineries which will include an introduction into urban wine making, an intimate look at San Diego's growing Urban Winery/Wine scene; tasting flight of 4-5 wines at Negociant Winery; tasting flight of 5 wines at Callaway Vineyard & Winery; tasting flight of 4-5 wines at Carruth Cellars Wine Garden. Your fee includes transportation to & from the hotel and uniformed Allied PRA staff, taxes and gratuities.




    Coast to Crest Hike with Navy Seal (no lunch included)
    Time: 1:00-5:00 p.m.
    Cost: $250 per adult/child (10 & older)
    Minimum: 20
    Maximum: 20

    You will hike 2 1/2 hours in Del Dios Gorge with a Navy Seal. Your fee include transportation to & from the hotel, bottle of water and Allied PRA uniformed staff, taxes and gratuities. This is an easy hike.




    Elegance under Sail
    Time: 1:00-5:00 p.m.
    Cost: $195 per adult/child
    Minimum: 20
    Maximum: 48

    Your tour (2 hours on the water) includes pleasure sailing on the Adventuress, a 60-foot sailing catamaran with hosted wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Cruising around the San Diego harbor you will see sea lions, exotic birds and a variety of marine life. Your fee include transportation to & from the hotel, hosted bar on the catamaran and Allied PRA uniformed staff, taxes and gratuities.
