    Listed below are the optional group activities for the 2017 Mid-Year. If you are interested, please be sure to register using the online registration form at www.tsla.org. Please note the minimums that are required for each activity. We have to reach the minimums in order to keep the rate listed. You will be notified if an event is cancelled or if the rate changes, due to not reaching the minimum. There are no refunds of group activities after June 23rd.

    Monday, July 17th

    Horseback Riding (no lunch included)
    Time: 1:30-4:30 p.m. (1 1/2 hour horse ride)
    Cost: $130 per adult (240 lb weight limit)/child (6 years & older)
    Minimum: 8
    Maximum: 16

    Your 1 1/2 hour horseback ride will be among historic homesteads or thru Colorado's rich and picturesque backcountry. A guided trail ride through the beautiful and tranquil Colorado terrain will be unlike any other experience. Catch glimpses of elk in aspen groves and wildflower covered meadows. The trail will be navigated by a beautiful, trustworthy horse perfectly suited to your style and ability level. Your fee includes transportation to & from the hotel, uniformed DSC staff, certified guide, helmet, taxes and gratuities.

    Fly Fishing (no lunch included)
    Time: 1:00-5:00 p.m.
    Cost: $275 per adult (3:1 ratio)/12 years & older
    Minimum: 8
    Maximum: 55

    Colorado offers an amazing opportunity for the sportsman or woman who loves to fish. Enjoy a half day experience with knowledgeable guides. Every 3 guests will have their own guide. All of the fly-fishing excursions are catch & release. Your fee includes transportation to & from the hotel, fly rod, waders and flies, experienced fishing guide, casting instructions, fishing license, snack, DSC uniformed staff, taxes and gratuities.

    Biking Adventure (no lunch included)
    Time: 1:30-4:30 p.m.
    Cost: $135 per adult/child*
    Minimum: 10
    Maximum: 90

    Your biking tour will begin at the top of Vail Pass, an elevation of 10,666 feet. Your guided cruise downhill will let you choose your own pace and experience majestic views not available any other way. Choose between either new comfort cruisers or mountain bikes to ride down the paved bike path. Your fee includes transportation to & from the hotel, bike guide, DSC uniformed staff, taxes and gratuities.
    (*To participate in this activity all adult/child guests must be comfortable riding a bike with hand brakes, pedal brake bikes and child carriers are not available.)

    Local Brewery Tour & Food Pairing (no lunch included)
    Time: 1:00-5:30 p.m.
    Cost: $165 per adult (21 & older)
    Minimum: 10
    Maximum: 30

    Guests will have the opportunity to see unique malting and brewing processes during a private tour of the facility, along with beer tastings of what they have seen. Your fee includes transportation to & from the hotel, guided tour, tasting and food pairing, uniformed DSC staff, taxes and gratuities.

    Clay Shooting - 5 stand (no lunch included)
    Time: 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
    Cost: $295 per adult/children (12 & older)
    Minimum: 10

    Each station has 2 throwers positioned in fields and forests of sage, juniper and pine throughout one of the most scenic courses in North America. Your fee includes transportation to & from the hotel, fun, ammo and targets, shooting vest, eye and ear protection, plus uniformed DSC staff, taxes and gratuities.

    Cost: $215 per adult/child (8 years & older)

    It is time to get acquainted with the Colorado rivers, unique in their combination of mountain scenery and whitewater excitement! This tour is a Class III, and is perfect for beginner, as well as intermediate rafters. A scenic, yet adventure-oriented tour. Your fee include transportation to & from the hotel, box lunch, certified guide, life jacket, wet suit, booties, helmet, river user fee, DSC uniformed staff, taxes and gratuities.
