    Please note we are continuing to use the registration form that allows you to pay by credit card (if you wish) and will be processed automatically when you register. If you wish to add your spouse, please click on guest to handle. If you are playing in the golf tournament, please be sure to answer the question about your golf handicap. You may register online at www.tsla.org or you may print the form and send to TSLA by email at jptsla@tsla.org. In order to qualify for the discount your form must be in the TSLA office by May 13th!

    REGISTRATION FEE POLICY: No single event registrations will be sold during pre-registration or once you arrive at the resort. All participants in the 2019 Mid-Year Meeting must be fully registered.

    PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES: You may pay your registration, group activity and golf fees by check or credit card. All checks should be made payable to TSLA. TSLA accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express. Please be sure to complete all sections of the registration form that pertain to your registration to ensure you are registered correctly. If you are not ready to decide about group activities when you initially register, there is a separate registration link on our website which will allow you to handle group activity registrations at any time prior to the June 14th deadline.

    ROOM RATES: The Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe is sold out of our room block! Contact Jean at jptsla@tsla.org if you want to be added to the wait list. Please note that, per our contract, the resort fee is waived. There is a list of overflow hotel options at www.tsla.org.

    RESORT CANCELLATION POLICY: 72 hours prior to arrival

    DEADLINES:
    TSLA registration forms with early discount are due by May 13th
    All TSLA registration forms are due by June 14th
    Group activity & golf registration forms are due by June 14th

    RESORT INFORMATION: The hotel offers several restaurants including Manzanita, The Living Room, The Backyard BBQ and Café blue, two pools (one adult only), spa, complimentary resort activities, outdoor activities, The Lake Club (separate cost), shuttle to The Lake Club and Kings Beach and nearby hiking.

    LAKE CLUB: The newest addition to the hotel located on Lake Tahoe. Designed for resort guests to enjoy indoor and outdoor lakefront amenities, including an outdoor whirlpool, cozy fireplaces, showers, changing facilities, beach access and private pier. Complimentary kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are provided for guest use. Additional water sports rentals are available. Inclusive food and beverage throughout the day. Beer, wine and select spirits are also included. Complimentary shuttle. Reservations are needed. Please contact the hotel concierge to schedule at (530) 562-3046. $499 fee per room up to 4 guests for week nights and $799 per room for weekends. Price does not include $50 service charge and 7.25% tax. Fees are non-refundable 7 days before check-in. Lake Club is open daily 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    TRANSPORTATION: You can reach Truckee by flying into the Reno/Tahoe International airport. Reno is about 45 minutes away depending on the time of day you arrive. All major airlines fly into Reno. You may also fly into Sacramento (1 hour, 45 minutes) or into San Francisco (3 hours), as well.

    GOLF TOURNAMENT: Your golf coordinator is Paul Rainey. The tournament will be held on Monday, July 22nd at the Old Greenwood Golf Club which is located about 20 minutes from the hotel. The tournament will be a SHOTGUN start at 1:00 p.m. Fees to play golf are $245 per person, which includes your box lunch, green fees, driving range fee and cart. Please be sure to register for golf using the registration form online at www.tsla.org. Golf fees may be paid by check or credit card. Please note that if you want to rent clubs you must indicate that on your registration form and pay in advance. Golf club rentals are $70 per set. Please be sure to indicate your handicap or average. Teams will be assigned at a later time. If you would like to play with someone, please email Jean at jptsla@tsla.org to provide names and we will try to accommodate your request. Foursome requests must be received by no later than June 3rd in order to accommodate. No refunds of golf registration fees after June 24th. Golf awards will be presented at the Tuesday night banquet. Our sincere thanks to Markel & Gulf Coast Claims Service for co-sponsoring the TSLA golf tournament.

    SPA: Experience The Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe Spa. Open each day and offers massages, hydrotherapy, facials, hand & foot treatments & salon services. Please call (530) 562-3030 in advance to make a reservation as they may be sold out by the time you arrive. TSLA members receive a 10% discount per our contract. You have complimentary access to the facilities throughout your stay. If any specific questions, please reach out to Lisa Schiefelbein, Group Coordinator for the spa at (530) 562-3032.

    SPOUSE EVENT: Join us so you can meet two squaw dogs and hear from an avalanche guide on how they rescue skiers in Lake Tahoe. At the spouse event you will be able to interact with the dogs and ask questions of the guide. After presentation, you will then be making dog biscuits for the squaw dogs. This event is designed for all spouses. Hostesses this year are Sherri Leicht and Brian Mier. The spouse event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Monday, July 22nd. Light breakfast will be served, including mimosas.

    There will be giveaways, including $100 cash and a $50 American Express gift card, just to name a few! Please provide an email for your spouse on the registration form, so they may be contacted directly. This is listed as a group activity event and though there is no additional cost, please click the link to register so I know your spouse is attending.

    GROUP ACTIVITIES: Optional group activities have been scheduled for both Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Please see the online registration form for more details and pricing or the group activity information on our website. Please be sure to register for the group activities that you want to participate in using the online form at www.tsla.org. If you do not wish to decide when you register about group activities, you may use the separate group activity registration later to handle. You will be notified by June 1st if a minimum was not met for an activity and the activity has been cancelled. No refunds after June 21st! Please email Jean the names of participants at jptsla@tsla.org if you register for group activities for more than yourself or use the add participant on the registration form to list additional attendees.

    RITZ KIDS: Onsite children's program for children ages 5-12. The program is offered 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You may register for full or 1/2 day. Please call (530) 562-3046 in advance to reserve a space for your child(ren), as they could be booked by the time you arrive. Half day cost is $100 with lunch. Full day cost with lunch is $ 150 per child. These fees do not include the 15% service charge or 7.25% tax. 50% discount will be applied to one additional child per family. There is also an arcade in the hotel for older children.

    BABYSITTING: Please contact the concierge at the resort at (530) 562-3046 for babysitting arrangements. Please allow at least 72 hours to make arrangements.

    CONCIERGE: The resort has a concierge desk located in the main lobby. They can assist you with dinner reservations, local activities, transportation, etc. Direct phone# is (530) 562-3046.

    TEMPERATURE: The high in the summer will be in the low 80's for the daytime. The evening temperature will be in the low 40's.

    TEXANS UNDER 40: Please plan to participate in the private reception for the TUF group on Sunday, July 21st at 6:00 p.m. There will be door prizes.

    DRESS: The dress for the entire conference will be casual (including speakers & guests). We encourage khaki slacks, shorts, polo type shirts and sundresses. Please note, the opening reception on Sunday night will be held outside.

    CLOSING DINNER: A buffet dinner will be held inside the The Ritz Carlton Ballroom. Golf awards will be presented.

    CHECK IN/CHECK OUT: Check in time is 5 p.m. and check out time is 11 a.m. Luggage may be stored, if needed.

    PARKING: Valet parking is provided at $15 per day, which is a reduced rate per our contract. Please make sure you are charged the correct amount upon checkout.

    EXTRA EVENTS: If you plan to host an event during the TSLA conference, please be sure that your event does not conflict with any TSLA sponsored event. The Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe concierge would be happy to assist you scheduling any off-site dinners.

    SPONSORSHIPS: Sponsorships are available for purchase for this conference. All sponsors will be recognized at the opening of our speaker's program on Monday, July 22nd. Please contact jptsla@tsla.org if you need information regarding sponsorships available for purchase.

    TSLA CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: There are no refunds of registration fees, golf or group activity fees after June 21st.

    TSLA BUSINESS MEETING: The TSLA Business Meeting will be held on Tuesday morning, July 23rd. The business meeting is open to all members and non-members.

    TRUCKEE/LAKE TAHOE INFORMATION: Hiking, biking, kayaking, lake cruises, gambling in North/South Lake Tahoe, wonderful dining, music on the beach, fishing, arts & culture just to name a few fun things to do in North & South Lake Tahoe. Venture to nearby communities like Truckee, Squaw Valley, Donner Pass, Nevada City and Virginia City.
